We are mixed billing practice - this means we privately bill most consult fees and the patient may claim their rebate from Medicare.
There may be other out of pocket charges for services such as vaccinations and wound dressings.
Referrals to specialists and allied health practitioners
Occasionally you may be referred onwards to other services, who may charge you out of pocket costs.
Level A consult (short) - $50
(Medicare rebate - $18.20)
Level B consult (under 20mins) - $85
(Medicare rebate - $41.20)
Level C consult (20-40 mins)- $125
(Medicare rebate - $79.70)
The fees above apply to Telehealth and Face to Face consultations.
Children under 16 receive a discount
Referrals and prescriptions done without an appointment will be charged $20.
Please note that there is no Medicare rebate for Insurance or Employment medicals. Please discuss the cost with us before your appointment.
Centrelink Pension and Health care card holders are bulk billed for consult fees on weekdays.
Commonwealth Seniors Healthcare Card holders receive a $10 discount.
For all card holders, there may be other costs that are not bulk billed, including some dressings and scripts/referral requests outside of appointments.
You must present your card at your first visit and when you receive a renewal of your card.
From 1/1/23 Pensioners and Health care card holders will incur an out of pocket charge for appointments on Saturdays.
